Located on Wellington Place in the heart of Belfast city centre, this former HMRC office building is being transformed into a 100-bedroom Staycity Aparthotel, secured on a 30-year lease. The project highlights Lotus’s ability to unlock value through strategic asset repositioning and adaptive reuse.
Currently under construction, the development will deliver high-quality aparthotel accommodation in a prime city-centre location. The scheme is designed as a 100% electric building and, through the retention and reuse of the existing structural frame, significantly reduces embodied carbon compared to a new-build alternative. Targeting a BREEAM Very Good rating, the development reflects Lotus’s commitment to sustainable regeneration and responsible investment. Practical Completion is scheduled for June 2027.
